Designing Custom Enclosures
The Challenge
A company in the commercial space had a new product line and needed a sheet metal assembly solution to meet specific weld strength requirements to ensure stability of the enclosure system. They realized they needed someone with sheet metal expertise and turned to L&T Precision.
The Solution
Our engineering and business development teams collaborated with our customer to develop the design solution. Getting a true understanding of the end-use of the product, we worked collaboratively to develop the welding and fixturing solutions to maintain the structure integrity as well as meet the end-use requirements. We aided in the design, testing and completed the fabrication build of the custom sheet metal enclosure weldment, putting our years of engineering experience and precise techniques to work to create a correct assembly approach. The result was a custom enclosure weldment built to last specifically for our customer’s new product line.
